VIBRATORY FEEDERS & CIRCULAR VIBRATORS
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF VIBRATORY BOWL FEEDERS?
In industry there is a wide variety of processes that require continuous feeding where the connection between one machine and another must be uniform and synchronized in order to increase efficiency. Vibratory bowl feeders are indispensable for a company like ours.
Vibratory feeders (also known as circular feeders, vibratory bowl feeders or vibratory feeders) regulate the infeed of material and allow the product to be conveyed to another destination in a synchronized manner.
STRUCTURE OF A VIBRATING FEEDER
A vibrating feeder consists of a circular vibrator and a bowl. The electromagnetic vibrator is the driving element that propels the parts forward, both in the selection units and in the autonomy or link-lung units. A vibrator consists of an assembly formed by two elastically connected masses (too active and too reactive) and has a natural frequency that responds in an oscillatory manner, according to a resonance curve, to the action of a frequency equal to the excitation caused by the magnetic field by pulsing one or more electromagnets.
WHAT DOES A VIBRATORY FEEDER CONSIST OF?
The tank is usually made of stainless steel and has an inner lining in synthetic fabric or a special polished finish to help the traction of the garments, to avoid damaging them in the case of delicate garments and to reduce the acoustic level. We have 3 types of vats which are cylindrical, conical or staggered in shape. What we call the sorting unit comprises a circular vibrator which impresses a circular advancing trajectory on the pieces, to whose active mass is attached a vat (tank) equipped with a helicoidal ramp for the ascent of the pieces until they are evacuated, already positioned.
The function of this equipment, commonly known as a vibratory feeder, is to position the pieces it receives in bulk in a predetermined manner, transporting them, once oriented, to their evacuation.
WHAT IS THE DURATION OF USE AND RESISTANCE OF THESE CIRCULAR VIBRATION MACHINES?
At TAD we have the widest range of vibrators on the market, which allows us to cover the entire spectrum of applications related to our activity. Our circular vibrators, of our own technology, have a proven quality and resistance, with a longevity of up to 30 years.
WHAT WAS THE JOB OF THE ELECTROMAGNETIC VIBRATING FEEDERS?
Our technological limits are those of our own speciality. By way of example, here are some parameters related to our vibratory feeders:
Diameters or sums of half-axes of the vats: 100-2000 mm.
Volume of pieces handled: 1 mm³ to 3 dm³.
Unit weight of the garments handled: 0.001 g to 2 kg.
Feeding rate: from the smallest (batch cycle) to the largest (kinematic machines).
Piece handling: from the most aggressive to the most delicate, from the simplest to the most complex geometries.
